Hi-ho! I know I've been absent for the last three months, but here I am again. In honor of another blog I follow (Busy Bee Lauren), I have decided to make Fridays my "Top Ten" day. Sometimes it will have a theme, but today, it's just going to be The Top Ten Things I've been Thinking About."
1. Summer!: I need it to get warm ASAP. I can't wait to go to the shore next weekend with my sister!
2. My sisters upcoming visit!: Sarah is visiting next weekend and we have a lot of stuff planned. :)
3. My grandma: This is sort of sad, but 15 years ago tomorrow, my grandma passed away. It was the first time a close family member died, and it had a deep impact on our family.
4. Jim Henson: On another sad note, 20 years ago Sunday, Jim Henson died. I've been watching videos of his memorial service (they came up on my YouTube feed), and it reminded me what a beautiful thing life can be.
5. Crocheting: I'm currently working on a new project, which I cannot elaborate on because it is for one of my readers. It's awesome though!
6. Graduation: Two of my roommates, and a number of my friends, are graduating on Sunday from La Salle! Hannah is the speaker, so I know I'll enjoy at least part of it.
7. Barney: He is behind me in his bed, and he keeps making noise. Therefore, I'm thinking about it.
8. Wawa: I eat way too much WaWa. But what am I supposed to do when they introduce new and delicious smoothies?
9. Speaking of Wawa, I'm famished. I really should get out of bed soon and eat.
10. Grad School: I'm again on the search for Ph.D. programs. I love NYU's program in American Studies. I can concentrate on both Urban Studies and Media Studies. Perfect! Now, about it being in New York City...
