Old photos.

This is mainly in response to a Busy Bee Lauren photo challenge, and so I can get Sara back for posting such an awful picture of the two of us.

A PHOTO JOURNEY.

This is from Jason and I's first vacation together. We went to the Outer Banks (NC) with his family and family friends. We are wearing "crabbing helmets," but as a house, we were wearing them to play beer pong. Very challenging.

This is my dad and I in my grandma's apartment. I was probably about 3 years old. I have very fond memories of Grandma's apartment. We watched Jeopardy there, she always had really neato jelly-beans, and we read a lot of World magazine. It was a very happy time for all involved. Aren't I adorable?

Sara with her judging face at this year's formal. I forget what she was judging, but that is the face she makes. There are no pictures of the face I make because it breaks cameras.

Our wedding day! I love this picture a lot. :)

We were in the parade. I look like a crazy person, but I was so freaking excited. My aunt took this picture. Yes, I realize we were on our honeymoon, but my godparents / aunt and uncle were in Florida, as well as one of our favorite people (Em), so we spent some time with others. It made the trip even more awesome.

There are many other pictures I could have used...but these are pretty good.

I'm peachy.

Jump!

This week was my dance school's end of the year showcase. We are not a recital school, which is so foreign to me coming from a school where the recital is the far and away the biggest event of the year. However, we spend the last 6 or so weeks of the year preparing little dances for our students and they perform them for their parents and everyone says how cute they are. I was able to tape all of my dances, so I can show my parents. It was, I guess, a success. My dances seemed to go well, although after years of working on pieces within an inch of their life, I think I need to lower my performance standards...

In other news, Barney was at the vet AGAIN this week. He had been losing fur on the back of his leg, and all of the websites said I needed to have that checked out. He got an injection of an anti-biotic and if it doesn't heal in two weeks, back to the vet. Oh the joys of having a kitten.

Other than all that, just working on organizing ourselves in the 4640. Jason and I have way too much stuff, so it has been a process. We're almost there though, and hopefully I can start organizing myself on a micro-level (desk drawers, etc.). Living here is fantastic. We drink on the balcony, we go on adventures together, but no one feels like they have to spend their time with the house. Today, we go to the beach. :)
