the fourth of july

yes, the "fourth" was intentional, thank you nathan veshecco, and it is in referrence to this being my fourth semester at la salle university. it's hard to believe, but it's true. it feels like only yesterday i hated every minute i had to be here and i wanted to just spend my days on the phone crying to my parents and john. things have changed. i don't cry as much. i love la salle. john and i are far too busy to spend our waking moments in contact. in fact, i have not spoken with john in almost three days. (worry not, he was in new york city). i also have quite the schedule now. one that i can really sink my teeth into, academically. lets go through them.

American History Through Baseball with Dr. John Rossi: I plan on dominating this course. i hate to be cocky, but if the first class was any indication, i know a lot more about american history than the majority of my peers (thank you seibert).

Eternal Golden Braid with Dr. Steven Andrilli: This will be my smack back into reality from the class previous. This is a math and logic course, intigrating the ideas and works of Godel, Bach, Esher, Carroll, Babbage, and Turing into one masterwork. yeah. don't ask me to explain any further.

American Philosophy with Dr. Marc Moreau: I return to the island of Dr. Moreau for the third and final time in my la salle career for a requirement for my major. One thing about this class: 10 people are better than 30.

Film as Art with Bill Wine: I love this class.

Biology, the Human Approach with Brother Tom: I'm not sure how i feel about it yet, but he did start the first lesson with an introduction to his friend, the lawnmower.

The only thing (and i think i mean this in complete honesty) lacking from my life at this moment is dance. There is no dance curriculum or class here and i really wish i could take some classes. oh well.

REMEMBER! red herring is fast approaching! you want to come see it! you'll laugh! you'll groan! and if you know anyone in the show, you'll probably feel awkward at some point too!

comment! send me some fun links! woo!

i'm peachy!!
