Well, i realized that I hadn't written anything since my bout with insomnia a few weeks ago. insomnia is a evil wench. i have learned to either exhaust myself each day in order to collapse that night, or i have methods of making myself sleepy, such as reading books for class or doing puzzles.

the last few weeks have been fairly uneventful, excluding the election, which was incredible, to say the least. i said what few intelligent words i had to say about it on my other blog. other than that: eeeeeeeeeee! obama! yay!

the weekend before the election was spent in philadelphia. i went to the haunted house at la salle, then past the rest of the evening with liz, amanda, and jenny (oh, and jason, of course). saturday was filled with schoolwork and preparing for jess' halloween party, which was really fun. it was nice to see everyone, and catch up on some people (graham rowe) who i hadn't seen in like, 3 years. sunday was spent being super lazy / productive...no...lazy.

the week after the election was a blur, class wise. i did help stage a coup d'etat in my education class. my professor keeps changing the syllabus every week, and after suddenly springing two large projects on us, she also wanted us to start writing 4-5 page journals on the readings for each week. between all the assignments, that would amount to about 50 pages of writing in the last 4 weeks of school, in addition to my other classes. we said no and asked for a compromise, which we got. we just have to write 3-5 questions on the reading each week instead. students of the world, unite!

on friday, my aunt chris picked me up from my apartment to begin the annual brewer ladies shopping weekend. this was the first year i was able to go, as you have to be 21 to go and last year i was in urinetown, so no shopping for me. it was awesome. on friday, we ate good food, drank fun drinks and my cousin liz and i had chats late into the night, like we did when we were kids. it was really nice to bond again with her. on saturday we ate breakfast at bob evans (which is tradition if there is one near where we shopped...the locale changes every year), went to tj maxx, kohls, target, ulta, ross, bed bath and beyond, and the shoppes at susquehanna, which are generally upscale. i got new pj's with little duckies on them, a shirt, a new bedroom set (like, the comforter, pillows, etc), and an adorable dress from white house / black market for kevin and danielle's wedding a year from now. it was on super sale (orig: $188...my price: $60). we ended the day with a dinner at the macaroni grille (with peach martini's...mmm). jason picked me up from my mom's and on sunday we saw seth and mj in 'the pajama game' at the oyster mill playhouse, camp hill's version of the bristol playhouse (complete with waterfront locale!).

this week has simply been gearing up for this weekend and the following one. i arrive on friday, into the woods / alumni stuff on saturday, and nothing on sunday. i need to write papers. seriously.

that's it...i'll be blogging on my other blog soon...

i'm peachy.

Glad you were at the Haunted House. I almost broke character because I was happy to see you :-)
