Anything pairing Tom Hanks and Meg Ryan (except "Joe and the Volcano".)

Nicholas Sparks...it's true. The man has mastered writing about the art of the woo.
Jane Eyre
Bronte sisters as a whole.
Pride and Prejudice
If you are going to woo her with a song, don't sing if you can't. Pull a John Cusak if you must. Go with a classic, nothing modern that hasn't proven itself as a lasting song. If it does become your song, you don't want to be stuck with the modern equivalent of Styx's "Babe" or something by the Backstreet Boys (unless you both love boy bands forever and always...).

now idk i personally thought the notebook did a good job of showing the artform of woo'ing but thats just my opinion
What about Sixteen Candles or The Office, though that last one is television. Still.
It's a sad state the world is in when we define wooing as being a gentleman [basically] and then declare the art of wooing a rare artform indeed.

You might want to rethink when saying "except Joe Vs. the Volcano." Probably Hanks and Ryan at the pinnacle of their careers. And I am dead serious.
um.. yea, say anything is a movie you left out. actually, ANY cousack movie, cuz he played a shy kid and such trying to get the girl. C'mon now! lol.
